Solution:-

The given system of equations is

2x + y = 7 ——(i)

4x - 3y = -1 ——(ii)

From equation (i), we get y = (7 - 2x).

\:

Substituting y = (7- 2x) in (ii), we get

→ 4x - 3(7 - 2x) = -1

→ 4x - 21 + 6x = -1

→ 10x - 21 = -1

→ 10x = -1 + 21

→ 10x = 20

→ x = 20/10

x = 2

\:

Substituting x = 2 in equation (i), we get

→ 2 × 2 + y = 7

→ 4 + y = 7

→ y = 7 - 4

y = 3

Hence, the solution is x = 2 and y = 3.

Answer:-

  • x = 2 and y = 3
