Answer:

HERE,

a= 2, b= -2√6 & c= 3

Now,

D= b²-4ac

= (-2√6)²- 4(2)(3)

= 24-24

= 0 > 0

THEREFORE,

IT'S A REAL ROOT & EQUAL

THEN,

X= -b / 2a

= -(- 2√6)/2(2)

= 2√6/4. ( CUT DOWN 4 BY 2, THEN IT WILL....)

= √6/2

= √2×3/2

= √2×3/ √2×√2

= √3/√2

HENCE,

THE ROOT IS √3/√2
