Answer:

We have,

2x ²− 5x+3=0

⇒x ² − 5/2 x = - 3/2 =0

(Dividing throughough by 2)

⇒x ² − 5/2x = − 3/2

(Shifting the constant term on RHS)

⇒x² −2( 5/4 )x+( 5/4)² =( 5/4) ² − 3/2

{Adding ( 1/2 Coeff.ofx) ²onboth sides}

⇒(x− 5/4 ) ² = 25/16 - 3/2

⇒(x− 5/4 )² = 1/16

⇒x− 5/4 = ± 1/4

⇒x= 5/4 ± 1/4

⇒x= 5/4+ 1/4 = 6/4

or

x= 5/4 - 1/4 = 4/4

⇒x= 3/2

or x=1

here the root of the equation are 3/2 and 1
