☆ Solve : 2y + 5/3 = 26/3 - y:-
==============================================

2y + 5/3 = 26/3 - y

2y + y = 26/3 - 5/3

3y = (78 - 15)/9

3y = 63/9

3y = 7

y = 7/3 Ans.

Given:

2y+\frac{5}{3}=\frac{26}{3}-y

To Find:

The value of "y" = ?

Solution:

On taking LCM of the given expression, we get

⇒  \frac{6y+5}{3} =\frac{26-3y}{3}

On applying cross-multiplication, we get

⇒  3(6y+5)=3(26-3y)

⇒  18y+15=78-9y

On adding "9y" both sides, we get

⇒  18y+15+9y=78-9y+9y

⇒  27y+15=78

On subtracting "15" from both sides, we get

⇒  27y+15-15=78-15

⇒  27y=63

⇒  y=\frac{63}{27}

⇒  y=\frac{7}{3}

So that the solution of the above expression will be "7/3".
