2y = 13 + 7

2y = 20

Y = 20/2

Y = 10

Hence, for solving the above equation, we will solve it by separating the like terms at one side.

So, we will shift 7 from LHS to RHS, the sign will change from negative  to positive,

So, we will get it as,

2y-7=13\\2y=13+7\\2y=20\\y=\frac{20}{2} \\y=10

Hence, value of "y" in above equation will be 10.
