The solution is (2.6, 2.2)

Explanation:

Given system:

\dfrac{3}{2x-y}+\dfrac{8}{x+2y}=3-------------(1)\\\\ \dfrac{12}{x+2y}-\dfrac{6}{2x-y}=1--------------(2)

Let\dfrac{1}{ 2x-y}=a  and \dfrac{1 }{x+2y }= b , then         (i)

3a+8b=3----------(3)\\\\ 12b-6a=1--------(4)

Multiply 2 to equation (3) , we get

6a+16b=6--------(5)

Add equation (4) and (5) , we get

28b= 7\\\\ b=\dfrac{1}{4}

Put value of b in (3) , we get

3a+8(\dfrac{1}{4})=3\\\\ 3a+2=3\\\\\ 3a= 1\\\\ a=\dfrac{1}{3}

From (i) , we have

2x-y= 3--------(6)\\\\ x+2y=7---------(7)

From 7 , x= 7-2y , put this in (6) , we gte

2(7-2y)-y=3\\\\ 14-4y-y=3\\\\ -5y=-11\\\\ y=\dfrac{11}{5}=2.2

So , x= 7-2(2.2)=2.6

Hence, the solution is (2.6, 2.2)
