Answer:

p=0

Step-by-step explanation:

multiply eqn 2 with 2 , we get: 4/x+10y=38 --(i)

multiply eqn 1 by 5, we get: 15/x-10y=0 --(ii)

adding both eqn we get: (4+15)/x=38

x=19/38=1/2

now from (ii),

y=(15/x)/10=(15*2)/10=30/10=3;

thus x=1/2 and y= 3

therefore- y=px+3 --> 3=p/2+3

solve for p and p= 0

Step-by-step explanation:

(3/x-2y=0)+(2/x+5y=19)

5x/x+3y=19

5+3y=19

3y=19-5

3y=14

y=14/3

put y=14/3

3/x-2×14/3=0

3/x-28/3=0

(9-28x)/3x=0

9-28x=0

9=28x

9/28=x

y=px+3

14/3=p9/28+3

14/3-3=9/28p

(14-9)/3=9/28p

5/3=9/28p

5=(9/28p)×3

5×28p=27

140p=27

27/140=p

0.19...=p
