\huge\color{red}\boxed{Answer}

by using identity (a-b)²

(-3- y)²

-3² +(-y²) -2(-3)(-y)

9 - -6y

or -y² -6y + 9

by factorising

-y² -3y -3y +9

y[y-3] +3[y-3]

(y+3) (y-3)

  • 1st we use identity of a-b² to get an equation
  • then we factorise it by using mid term splliting
  • so we get two value of y either -3 or +3
  • we can slove this by quadratic formula
  • after unsing identity
