Hey mate !
________

✓ Let the number of electrons in ion = x

✓ Number of neutrons = x+0.304x = 1.304x

✓ Number of electrons in neutral atom = x+3

✓ Number of protons in neutral atom = x+3

✓ Mass number = 56

=) (x+3)+(1.304x)=56

=) x = 23

✓ Number of protons = x+3 = 26

Thus, The Symbol of ions = Fe3+

Hope it helps !

Hi friend,

# Symbol of ion = Fe3+

Solution :-

Let, the no. Of electrons in ions = x

➡No. Of neutrons = x + 0.304x = 1.304x

➡No. Of electrons in neutral atom = x+3

➡No. Of protons in neutral atom = x+3

➡So, Mass no. = 56

➡Thus , (x+3)+(1.304x) = 56
Or, 56 = x+3+1.304x
Or, 2.304x = 56
Or, x = 23

➡Threfore, no. Of protons = x+3 = (23+3) = 26

So, the symbol of ion is Fe3+ ( proved)....i hope it helps you
