add the two and then subtract you will get two simplified equations and then solve them
80x + 80y = 240
-6x + 6y = 6

Answer:

Hi ,

37x+ 43y=123

43z+37y=117

Adding both we get

80x+80y=240

Let us divide them by 80

X+y =3

. On subtracting them both

= 6y -6x=6

On dividing by 6 them we get

Y - x = 1

X+y=3

On adding them

2y=4

Y=2

Since x+y=3

2+x=3

X =1

Hence x =1 and y =2

Hope it helps u
