Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

(3x- y = 7 ) { multiply by 5}.........which becomes.. 15x-5y = 35...{equation 1}

4x+ 5y = 6 {equation 2}

...........................

from eq 1 and 2

19x = 41   ...... hence x= 41/19

                            and y =200/19

hope it helps u...

cheers :D

Solution:

Given system of equations:

3x-y=7.............(1)

4x+5y=6..........(2)

Multiplying (1) and (2) by 4 and 3 respectively,we get:

12x-4y=28........(3)

12x+15y=18........(4)

Subtracting (3) and (4),

(12x-4y)-(12x-15y)=28-18

=>-19y=10

=>y= -10/19

Putting y= -10/19 in (1),

3x-(-10/19)=7

=>3x+10/19=7

=>3x=7-10/19

=>3x=123/19

=>x=123/27

=>x=41/9

Hence,(x,y)=(41/9,-10/19)
