Answer:

8

Step-by-step explanation:

Adding both:

= > (3x + 2y) + (2x + 3y) = 11 + 9

= > 3x + 2y + 2x + 3y = 20

= > 3x + 2x + 2y + 3y = 20

= > 5x + 5y = 20

= > 5(x + y) = 20

= > x + y = 20/5 = 4

= > 2(x + y) = 2(4)

= > 2x + 2y = 8

3x + 2y = 11__________[i]

x = 11-2y/3___________[ii]

2x + 3y = 9__________[iii]

2(11-2y/3) + 3y = 9

22-4y/3 + 3y = 9

22-4y+9y/3 = 9

22+5y = 9×3

22+5y = 27

5y = 27-22

5y = 5

y = 1

Putting y=1 in [ii] :-

x = 11-2/3

x = 9/3

x = 3

Putting value of x & y in 2x+2y :-

2×3 + 2×1

6 + 2

8

Your answer = 8
