We can take the value of $$ x $$ be 2 and the value of $$ y $$ be 3, then,

 \sf{3x + 2y - 12 = 0}

 \sf \to \: 3(2) + 2(3) - 12 = 0

 \sf \to \: 6 + 6 - 12 = 0

 \sf \to \: 12 - 12 = 0

 \sf \to \: 0 = 0

{\sf{\to LHS = RHS}}
