➙3x-4y=16

➙2x-3y=10

Above Equation can be solve by various methods we here solve it through elimination method.

Now,both Equation have different coefficient so,in order to make same coefficient of any one variable we Multiply with coefficient of 1st Equation with second Equation and vice- versa.

➙3x-4y=16----×2

➙2x-3y=10----×3

New Equation obtained

➙6x-8y=32

➙6x-9y=30

(-)(-)\:(-)

____________

y= 2

Put y 's value into this equation

➙3x-4y=16

➙3x-4(2)=16

➙3x-8=16

➙3x=24

x=8

Hence ,x = 8 and y= 2

Check:

➙3x-4y=16

➙3(8)-4(2)

➙24-8

➙16

Alternative Method

by substitution method:

➙3x-4y=16

x=16+4y/3-------(1)

➙2x-3y=10

➙2(16+4y/3)-3y=10

➙32+8y/3-3y=10

➙32+8y-9y/3=10

➙32-y/3=10

➙10×3= 32-y

➙30=32-y

➙30-32= -y

➙-2= -y

y=2

Put y's value into equation 1

➙x=16+4y/3

➙x=16+4(2)/3

➙x=16+8/3

➙x= 24/3

x= 8

Check:

3x-4y=16

➙3(8)-4(2)

➙24-8

=16
