3x - 4y = 10......i)

4x + 3y = 5......ii)

solution :-

multiplying equation 1) by 3 and 2) by 4

9x - 12y = 30.......iii)

16x + 12y = 20.....iv)

adding equation iii) and iv)

9x - 12y. = 30

+

16x + 12y = 20

25x. = 50

x = 50/25

x = 2

x = 2

substituting x = 2 in equation ii)

 =  > 4x + 3y = 5

 =  > 4 \times 2 + 3y = 5

 =  > 3y = 5 - 8

 =  > 3y =  - 3

 =  > y =  \frac{ - 3}{3}

 =  > y =  - 1

y = -1
