3x-4y=16 .....(1)
2x-3y=10 ......(2)

Therefore in (1),
3x=16+4y
x=(16+4y)/3......(3)

Substituting the value of x in (2),
2((16+4y)/3)-3y=10
(32+8y)/3=10+3y
32+8y=30+9y
32-30=9y-8y
y=2

Therefore substituting the value of y in (3),
x=(16+4(2))/3
x= (16+8)/3
x=24/3
x=8

Therefore, x=8, y=2
