Answer:

3x - 4y = 16

  • x = \frac{16 + 4y}{3}

putting above equation in the next equation,

2x - 3y = 10

  • 2( \frac{16 + 4y}{3} ) - 3y = 10
  • ( \frac{32 + 8y}{3} ) - 3y = 10
  • 32 + 8y - 3y = 30
  • 8y - 3y = 30 - 32
  • 5y =  - 2
  • y =  \frac{ - 2}{5}

putting value of y in equation of x,

x =  \frac{16 + 4( \frac{ - 2}{5} )}{3}

x =  \frac{(80 - 1.6) }{3}

x = \frac{784}{30}

x = 26.13
