Answer:

3x - y = 2

2x -y = 3

add both equaltion we get

5x = 5

x = 1

putting value of x in equation 1

3(1) - y = 1

3 -y = 1

y = 2

value of x = 1

value of y = 2

Let

3x-y = 2 -------------------- equation - 1

2x-y = 3 -------------------- equation - 2

Let's solve equation 1,

3x - y = 2 \\ 3x = 2 + y \\ x =  \frac{2 + y}{3}   -  -  -  -  - equation \:  -  \: 3

Let's substitute the value of x in equation - 2 we get,

2 \times  \frac{2 + y}{3} - y  = 3 \\  \frac{4 + y}{3}  - y = 3 \\ on \: solving \: by \: taking \: lcm \: we \: get \\  \frac{4+ y - 3y}{3}  = 3 \\ 4 - 2y = 3 \times 3 \\  - 2y = 9 - 4 \\  - 2y = 5 \\ y =  \frac {  - 5}{2}

Let's substitute the value of y in in equation - 3 we get,

x =  \frac{2 +  \frac{ - 5}{2} }{3} \\ x =  \frac{\frac{4 - 5}{2} }{3}   \\ x =  \frac{ \frac{ - 1}{2} }{3}  \\ x =  \frac{ - 1}{2}  \times  \frac{1}{3}  \\ x =  \frac{ - 1}{6}

Hope this helps you.
