Solution :

$3x + y = 81...(1)$

$81x + y = 3....(2)$

By Elimination Method :

On subtracting equation (1) from (2)

$78x = - 78 \\ \\ = > x = - 1$

On putting the value of x in eq. (1)

$3 \times ( - 1) + y = 81 \\ \\ = > - 3 + y = 81 \\ \\ = > y = 84$
