solve: 4 (to the power x-2) - 2(to the power x+1) = 0


Madhav223: 2 (to the power 2x-2)-2( to the power x-1) step 2 : 2x-2 = x+1 step 3: 2x-x = 1+2 step 4: x=3

4^(x-2) -2^(x+1) =0

so, 2^(2x-4)=2^(x+1)

As bases are same so, the powers are also same.

2x-4=x+1

so, x=5
