4x - 12 - 2x + 2 > 0

2x - 10 > 0

x > 5

So choose option (b)

Given  that ,  4(x-3) - 2(x-1) > 0

→ 4x - 12 - 2x + 2 > 0

→ 2x -10 > 0

→2x > 10

→x > 10/2  

→x > 5

Therefore option b  is correct.
