As per data given in the question,

We have to determine the value of "x" when the equation "4x - \frac{1}{5}x+2 = 4 is solved.

So, for solving the given equation, we will separate the like terms on one sides of equation,

So, shifting the 2 from LHS to RHS of the equation,

We will get,

4x - \frac{1}{5}x+2 = 4\\4x - \frac{1}{5}x= 4-2\\4x - \frac{1}{5}x = 2

Solving the terms containing x we will get,

4x - \frac{1}{5}x = 2\\\frac{20-1}{5}x = 2\\=> \frac{19}{5}x = 2\\=> 19x = 10\\=> x = \frac{10}{19}

Given data:-

4x-\frac{1}{5x} +2=-4

As we have to find the value of x,

For that, we will separate the like terms on one side of the equation,

Now, shifting the 2 from LHS to RHS of the equation,

=>4x-\frac{1}{5x} =4-2

=>4x-\frac{1}{5x} =2

By simplifying the LHS,

=>\frac{20-1}{5} =2

=>\frac{19}{5} x=2

Multiplying 5 by 2 we get,

=>19x=10

=>x=\frac{10}{19}

The value of x is \frac{10}{19}
