6x+7y=4........(ii)
so multiply (i) equation by 6 and (ii) equation by 4
then 24x-18y=108......(iii)
24x+28y=16........(iv)
subtract (iii)and(iv)
24x-18y=108
24x+28y=16

-y=92/46
y=-2
so put y in equation (i)
4x-3y=18
4x-3(-2)=18
4x+6=18
4x=18-6
4x=12
x=12/4
x=3
