Solve 5+6(m-1) =35

first we will open up the brackets:

5+6m-6=35(multiply brackets by 6)

now variables on one side and numerical on one side.

5+6m=35+6

5+6m=41

6m=41-5(carry 5 on RHS)

6m=36

m=36/6(on left side 6 was in multiplication now it will be in division)

therefore m=6 because it can be reduced by 6
