Given equation
5x + 2y = 13 (i)
4x - 3y = 15 (ii)
To Find
Value of x and y
Now take
5x + 2y = 13 (i)
5x = 13 -2y
x = (13 - 2y)/5 (iii)
Now Put the value of x on (ii) equation
4x - 3y = 15 (ii)
4(13 - 2y)/5 -3y = 15
By taking LCM
4(13 - 2y) - 15y = 15×5
52 - 8y - 15y = 75
-23y = 75 - 52
-23y = 23
y = -1
Now Put the value of y on (iii) eq
x = (13 - 2y)/5 (iii)
x = (13 - 2(-1))/5
x = ( 13 + 2)/5
x = 15/5
x = 3
Answer
X = 3 and y = -1
