Step-by-step explanation:

5x+3y = - 11 1st equation

2x+4y = - 10 2nd equation

1st equation is multiple by 2 and 2nd equation is multiple by 5 by eliminating method and eliminate x so that u will get the value of y and x

10 x +6 y = - 22

10 x + 20y = - 50

(-) (-). (+)

-14 y = 28

y = 28/-14

y= - 2

Substitute y = -2 in eq 1 u can substitute in both 1 st and 2nd equation u will get same answer

I am substituting in 2 nd equation

2x +4 ( -2 ) = - 10

2 x - 8 = - 10

2x = - 10 +8

2x = - 2

x = -2/2

x= -1

Therefore x = -1 ; y = -2

If u had any doubt u can ask u will write in note and I will send

Answer:

5x+3y=11-----(1)

2x+4y= -10------(2)

multiplying eqn 1 by 2 and eqn 2 by 5

10x+6y=22---------(3)

10x+20y= -50-----(4)

subtracting eqn (3) from eqn (4)

10x+20y= -50

10x+ 6y= 22

(-) (-). (-)

-----------------------

14y = -72

y = -72/14

y = -5.14

put y = -5.14in equation 2

2x+4×-5.14= -10

2x -20.56 = -10

2x. = -10+20.56

2x. = 10.56

x. =10.56/2

x. =5.28

hope this is helpful for you
