solve:5x-3y=8;3x+y=2 by substituting value of x ​

5x-3y=8=

5x=3y+8

x=3y+8/5

3x+y=2=

3×3y+8/5 +y =2

9y+24/5 + y=2

9y+24+5y/5=2

14y+24/5=2

14y+24=10

14y=-14

  • y= -1

3x+y=2

3x-1=2

3x=3

x=1
