by multiplying equation (ii) with 3

we get,

6p-3q =1

&15p+3q=6

Now adding (i) &(ii)

we get,

21p=7

so, p= 1/3

Now by putting the value of p in (i)

we get q=1/3

So, p=1/3 & q =1/3
