6 {x}^{2}  - x - 15 = 0

x =  \frac{1  +  -  \sqrt{(1 + 360)} }{12}

x =  \frac{1 +  - 19}{12}

x =  \frac{ - 3}{2} or \frac{5}{3}

Now,

y - 3 =  \frac{ - 3}{2} or  \frac{5}{3}

y - 3 =  \frac{ - 3}{2}

2y - 6 = -3

y = 3/2

y - 3 = 5/3

3y - 9 = 5

y = 14/3

y = 3/2 or 14/3
