solve 7 power x is equals to 9 power x - 3

7^x=9^x-2

taking log both sides

xlog7=(x-2)log9=xlog9-2log9

⇒xlog9-xlog7=2log9

⇒x(log9-log7)=2log9

⇒x=2log9/(log9-log7)
