Question:-

Solve 7(x-2=)2(2x-4)

Solution:-

Given,

7(x - 2) = 2(2x - 4)

Multiply 7 with (x - 2) and 2 with (2x - 4)

You will get

7x - 14 = 4x - 8

Transport 4x to LHS and -14 to RHS

7x - 4x =  - 8 + 14

3x = 6

Transport 3 to RHS

Then, x

 =  \frac{6}{3}

x = 2

The value of x is 2
