Answer:

5m + 6n - 18 r

Step-by-step explanation:

( 7m + 3 n - 4r ) + ( 5m - 9r + 3n ) - ( 5r + 7m )

7m +3n-4r + 5m - 9r + 3n - 5r- 7m

5m + 6n - 18r

Hope it help you..

Question 1) :- solve (7m+3n-4r)+(5m-9r+3n) - (5r+7m) ?

Solution :-

→ (7m+3n-4r)+(5m-9r+3n) - (5r+7m)

Solving brackets and, keeping like term together,

→ 7m + 5m - 7m + 3n + 3n - 4r - 9r - 5r

(5m + 6n - 18r) (Ans.)

Question 2) :- Find the remainder using remainder theorem :- (y³ - 3y² + 3y - 1) ÷ (y + 1).

Solution :-

we know that, remainder theorem says that, when any polynomial f(x) is divided by (x + a) , than the remainder will be f(-a).

So,

→ y + 1 = 0

→ y = (-1)

Putting y = (-1) , we get,

→ f(y) = (y³ - 3y² + 3y - 1)

→ f(-1) = (-1)³ - 3(-1)² + 3(-1) - 1

→ f(-1) = (-1) - 3*1 - 3 - 1

→ f(-1) = (-1) - 3 - 4

→ f(-1) = (-8) (Ans.)

Hence, the remainder will be (-8).
