equation no. 1 = 8x+5y=9

and second is 3x+2y=4

multiply equation no.1 by 3 and eq[2} by 8

24x+15y=27

24x+16y=32

= -1y = -5

so, y= 5

putting value of y in eq{1}

24x+15{5} = 27

24x+75 = 27

24x= -75+27

24x = -48

x = -2

I HOPE THAT IS HELPFUL

8x+5y=9.....(1)

3x+2y=4.....(2)

in eq(1).x=(9-5y)/8

put the value of x in eq 2

we get

27-15y+16y=32

y=32-27

y=5

x=(9-5x5)/8(FROM eq (1)

x=-16/8 =-2

I HOPE IT WILL HELP YOU
