\bigstarAnswer:

  • 934/1000 or 0.934

\green\bigstarGiven:

  • 9/10 + 3/100 + 4/1000

\blue\bigstarTo find:

  • Sum of 9/10 + 3/100 + 4/1000

\pink\bigstar Solution:

\because The fractions don't have a common denominator, so we can't add them.

\thereforeWe have to make the fractions as "like fractions" to add them.

9/10 + 3/100 + 4/1000

= (9 × 100)/(10 × 100) + (3 × 10)/(100 × 10) + 4/1000

= 900/1000 + 30/1000 + 4/1000

= (900 + 30 + 4)/1000

= 934/1000 or 0.934
