To find : value of x

Given : 9x + 5 =4 (x-2)+ 8

Solution :

  • Here, we will use the below following steps to find a solution using the transposition method:
  1. We will Identify the variables and constants in the given equation.
  2. hen we differentiate the equation as LHS and RHS.
  3. We take constants at RHS leaving variable at LHS.
  4. Simplify the equation using arithmetic operation as required to find the value of x .
  5. Then the result will be the solution for the given linear equation. By using the transposition method. we get,
  • 9x + 5 =4 (x-2)+ 8

       9x + 5 =4x-8+ 8\\9x-4x = -5\\5x =-5 \\x =-1

Hence, value of x is -1 .

  • We have to evaluate the above expression by using the given data.

              Given data:- 9x+5=4(x-2)+8.

To find:- Value of the expression.

              Solution:-

  • Here we will use the transposition method.
  • Transposition is one of the linear equations.
  • To solve the transposition method we will Identify the variables and constants.
  • Then we Simplify the equation in LHS and RHS.
  • Now Simplify the equation using arithmetic operations.

              9x+5=4(x-2)+8\\=9x+5=4x-8+8\\=>9x+5=4x\\=>9x-4x=-5\\=>5x=-5\\=>x=-1.

Hence we will get the value x=-1.
