b) solutions /=Given,

5/2x=-10

Multiply both the sides by 2.

2 x (5/2)x = – 10 x 2

5x = -20

Dividing both the sides by 5, we get;

5x/5 = -20/5

x = -4

Hence, x = -4 is the required solution.
