solve (a+b)^3 - 8(a-b)^3

Answers

Answered by Gargihazra
8
Step  1  :

Equation at the end of step  1  :

((a + b)3) - 8 • (a - b)3

Step  2  :

 2.1    Evaluate :  (a+b)3   =  a3+3a2b+3ab2+b3   2.2    Evaluate :  (a-b)3   =  a3-3a2b+3ab2-b3

Checking for a perfect cube :

 2.3    -7a3+27a2b-21ab2+9b3  is not a perfect cube

Final result:

-7a3 + 27a2b - 21ab2 + 9b3
