SOLUTION

a - b = 3 -----> (1)

\frac{a}{3} + \frac{b}{2} = 6\\\\=>\frac{2a + 3b}{6} = 6\\\\=>2a + 3b = 6 * 6\\\\

2a + 3b = 36----> (2)

By sunstitution method,

⇒ a = b - 3

Putting a = b - 3 in equation (2)

⇒ 2(b - 3) + 3b = 36

⇒ 2b - 6 + 3b = 36

⇒ 5b = 36 - 6

⇒ 5b = 30

b = \frac{30}{5}

b = 6

Putting b = 6 in equation (1)

⇒ a - 6 = 3

⇒ a = 3 + 6

a = 9

Hence,

a = 9 & b =6

Hope it helps :)
