Heya mate, Here is ur answer

(3a+b):(a+b) =9:5

 \frac{3a + b}{a + b}  =  \frac{9}{5}

By cross multiplication

(3a+b)×5= 9(a+b )

15a+5b=9a+9b

15a-9a=9b-5b

6a =4b

 \frac{6a}{4}  = b

 \frac{a}{b}  =  \frac{4}{6}

a/b=2/3

a:b =2:3
