Solve:
(a - b)x + (a + b)y - a2 - 2ab-b2
(a + b) (x + y) = a2 + b2

Method Used

Cross Multiplication

• Obtain both equations in form of ax + by + c.

• Take out “-” comman every time amd in every solution.

• Take comman terms out and then subtract/add the unlike terms.

• Remember y has “-” sign infront from it so it can or cannot cancel out with denoninator.

• The all three terms are equal and separate into two equations.

Answer

x = -(a + b) & y = - 2a
