let the number be 10x+y
ATQ
x+y=8
10x+y-10y-x=-18
9x-9y=-18
x-y=-2
x+y=8
2x=6
x=3
y=8-3=5

the number =10x+y =35

then.
x+y=8
again,,
(10x+y)+18=10y+x
10x-x+y-10y=-18
9x-9y=-18
9(x-y)=-18
y-x=2 -----(2)
by elimination method for solving...
y+x=8
y-x=2

x=3

y-x=2
y-3=2
y=2+3
y=5
