chahakdeepika: hi thanks for sharing but a small mistake the answer would be -1/2 as 0-1 is -1
selfiestefie3: hey mate no here 0+1 so i am correct only
selfiestefie3: when -1 transposed to right side it becomes 0+1 so ans is 1/2 only...

Answer:

a^{2x-1} = 1

We know that,  a^{0} = 1

So,    2x-1 = 0

     ⇒ 2x = 1

     ⇒ x = \frac{1}{2}
