A/x + b/y = m -------(1)

bx + a/y = n ---------(2)

I solve this multiplication method .becoz this way you can easily solve this type of question.

multiply a with eqn (1) and b with eqn (2)

a²/x + ab/y = ma

b²/x + ab/y = nb

=================

subtracting

a²/x - b²/x = ma - nb

( a² - b²)/x = ( ma - nb)

x = (a² - b²)/( ma - nb)

similarly multiply b with equation (1) and a with equation (2) and subtracting

you get ,

b²/y - a²/y =( mb - na)

y = ( b² - a²)/( mb - na)

hope this will help you
