So in 4 days he will complete 1/12 th × 4

                                              = 1/3 rd of his work .

Remaining work = 1 - 1/3

                           = ( 3 - 1 ) / 3

                           = 2/3

So the remaining work is 2/3 rd part.

A can do 1/15 th part of work in 1 day .

He worked for 3 days .

Hence A completed 1/15 × 3

                                = 1/5 th part of work .

Remaining part of work = 1 - 1/5

                                        = ( 5 - 1 ) / 5

                                        = 4/5 th part of work.

So work done by B is 4/5 th of the total work.
