Answer:

3(2x - 3) = 4(2x + 4)

6x - 9 = 8x + 16

6x - 8x = 9 + 16

 - 2x = 25

x =  \frac{25}{ - 2}

x =   \frac{ - 25}{2}

By putting the value of x

3 \times ((2 \times  \frac{ - 25}{2} ) - 3) = 4((2 \times \frac{ - 25}{2})   + 4)

3 \times ( - 25 - 3) = 4 \times ( - 25 +  4)

3 \times ( - 28) = 4 \times ( - 21)

 - 84 =  - 84

Therefore LHS = RHS

hence the value is x is -25/2

hope it helps
