Given: The equation is13(y+4) - 3(y-9)=5y+7.

We have to solve the equation and check the LHS is equal to RHS.

By using the Bodmas rule, we are solving the given equation.

We are solving in the following way:

We have,

13(y+4) - 3(y-9)=5y+7

Now,

=> 13(y+4) - 3(y-9)=5y+7

=>13y+52-3y+27\\=>10y+79

Solving the above equation we get,

=>10y+79

Therefore13(y+4) - 3(y-9)\neq 5y+7.

Hence, RHS is not equal to LHS.
