We have,

Length of the metal wire, I = 1 m

Diameter of the wire, d = 0.3 mm

Radius, r = 0.3/2 mm = 0.15 mm = 0.15 x 10-³ m R

Resistance of the metal, R = 26 Q

Thus,

Resistivity, p = RA/L

= R X Tr L 26 x 3.14 x (0.15 x 10-3)²/1 = Qm

= 1.84 x 10° Qm.

The resistivity of the metal at 20°C is 1.84 x 10-80 m.

From the table given below, we can say that the material under consideration is Manganese.
