Answer

18) \frac{15}{\cancel{8}} \times \cancel{48}

48 = 8 × 6

\implies 15 \times 6

\purple{\implies 90}

19) \frac{5}{7} \times 0

we know that ,

0 multiplied by any number is equal to 0..

\purple{\implies 0}

20)  \frac{5}{10} \times \frac{5}{10}

 \implies \frac{5 \times 5}{10 \times 10}

\purple{\implies \frac{25}{100} = \frac{1}{4}}

21)  2 \frac{2}{13} + 1 \frac{8}{13}

 2 \frac{2}{13} = \frac{(2 \times 13) + 2}{13}

\leadsto \frac{28}{13}

 1 \frac{8}{13} = \frac{(1 \times 13) + 8}{13}

 \leadsto \frac{21}{13}

by replacing mixed fraction with proper fraction ..

 \frac{28}{13} + \frac{21}{13}

 \implies \frac{(28 + 21)}{13}

\implies \frac{49}{13} = 3 \frac{10}{13}

\purple{\implies 3 \frac{10}{13}}

22) \frac{2}{8} + \frac{8}{24}

lcm of 8 and 24 = 24

 \frac{2}{8} \times \frac{3}{3}

 \implies \frac{6}{24}

\frac{6}{24} + \frac{8}{24}

 \frac{(6+8)}{24}

\purple{\implies \frac{14}{24}}

23) \frac{2}{8} + \frac{3}{10}

Lcm of 8 and 10 = 40

 \frac{2}{8} \times \frac{5}{5}

\leadsto \frac{10}{40}

\frac{3}{10} \times \frac{4}{4}

\leadsto \frac{12}{40}

\frac{10}{40} + \frac{12}{40}

 = \frac{(10+12)}{40}

\purple{\implies \frac{22}{40}}
