Hello mate....

Given.....

11y = 6y -  \frac{1}{3}

11y - 6y =  -  \frac{1}{3}

5y =  -  \frac{1}{3}

y =  -  \frac{1}{15}

Checking

11( -  \frac{1}{15} ) = 6( -  \frac{1}{15} ) -  \frac{1}{3}

 -  \frac{11}{15}  =  -  \frac{2}{5}  -  \frac{1}{3}

 -  \frac{11}{15}  =  \frac{ - 6 - 5}{15}

 -  \frac{11}{15}  =  -  \frac{11}{15}

Hope it helps you...

11y=6y−31

11y - 6y = - \frac{1}{3}[tex]11y−6y=−31

5y = - \frac{1}{3}5y=−31

y = - \frac{1}{15}y=−151

Checking》

11( - \frac{1}{15} ) = 6( - \frac{1}{15} ) - \frac{1}{3}11(−151)=6(−151)−31

- \frac{11}{15} = - \frac{2}{5} - \frac{1}{3}−1511=−52−31

- \frac{11}{15} = \frac{ - 6 - 5}{15}−1511=15−6−5

- \frac{11}{15} = - \frac{11}{15}−1511=−1511[/tex]
