➡ 2 (x-4) -4 (x- 9 ) = 5 (x+ 5)

➡ 2x - 8 - 4x + 36 = 5x + 25

➡ 7x = 3

➡ x = 3/7

 \huge\mathtt{{\colorbox{silver}{VERIFICATION}}}

LHS

➡ 2 (x-4) -4 (x- 9 )

Putting the value of x,

➡ 2 ( 3/7 - 4) - 4 ( 3/7 - 9)

➡ 2 ( - 25/7) - 4 ( -60/7)

➡ -50/7 + 240/7

➡ 190/7

RHS

➡ 5 (3/7 + 5)

➡ 5 ( 38/7)

➡ 190/ 7

Therefore, LHS = RHS
